Nikon 80 400mm lens
is a versatile, compact and lightweight zoom ideal for wildlife and outdoor photography, and includes Nikon’s VR image stabilization technology. This lens from Nikon is from the family of long telephoto zooms. With a zoom ratio of 5x, the lens is not pushing the optical laws too far in its capabilities and with its 3 ED elements and the help of Vibration Reduction technology (VR) it performs very well indeed.

With the 80 400mm Lens Nikon has gone a long way to tackling the issue through its innovative "vibration reduction" technology. These optics are designed to compensate, at least partially, for the camera shake that is inevitable when a lens is hand-held.

The nikon 80 400mm f 4.5 5.6 d interchangeable lens automatically detects camera shake during panning with two modes of VR: Image plane and Viewfinder. VR for the viewfinder is cancelable to conserve Battery Power. Three ED glass elements ensure superior optical performance and high contrast even at maximum apertures.
